Abyss (2019) - I painted this when I was experimenting with mixed media, so this is acrylic paint with sharpie and markers on it. I wanted a more graphic style and to show the depth of water and dangers that can sometimes only be shown when you’re in the light.

Catharsis (2019) - I started this after I finished painting The Beach and was inspired by the coloring and flow of water and sad. I was going through a weird time in my life and wanted to show the disconnect between my head and body and how i wanted to just lie on the beach and let the waves wash my thoughts away.

The Beach (2019) - This is the smallest painting I’ve ever done, this is on a 3 x 3 inch piece of cardboard. This is a warmup painting to my Catharsis painting but I still included it because I loved the way it turned out and how I was able to get the strokes so defined.

Eyes on you (2019) - I wanted to step out of my comfort zone with this piece so I tried to go for a more abstract painting with defined dimensions. A lot of my other pieces have been very calming or simple so I tried to do something different and paint something more unsettling.
